My Freespirit also stops after a few minutes

I have the same problem, treadmill starts and after a few minutes stops, but the display panel continues as normal ( it doesn't show any type of error) . When I unplugged the power cable and reset, it starts again but stops after 5 minutes.

The panel is lit up and everything looks normal, but when you press start, nothing happens. Unplugged and re-plugged. Turned off and back on. Pushed red reset? button. Again, nothing.

Normally all these problems are in relation with motor itself, I mean, internal bearings, short circuit. So if your treadmill stops is bacause the circuit board detetecs an over current fron motor.

I hope help you

Freespirit treadmill

Turn treadmill off. Disconnect drive motor wires from lower control board (Mtr + and Mtr -)
terminals. Power up in OLS mode (FAST & START). Bring displayed speed up to 99.
Measure across the Mtr + and Mtr - terminals with your voltmeter (DCVolts). You should
measure at least 90 vdc on a 110V treadmill and 180 vdc on a 220V treadmill.
If you are not getting dc volts out of the lower board, replace it.
If you are measuring the proper dc voltage out, replace the drive motor.

Freespirit Treadmill

Did you try it before you bought it and it was working. when you move the unit and pluged it into the wall outlet was it on? if yes then you may have damaged the lower board. If you can not get that part then the treadmill has died. Is it a Bowflex or a Free spirit.
