It has a feature called 'Ambient Mode'. You would better off having the Weather Network App on the television and on your Smart Phone and set it for Notifications. The App is free.

The TV app is available for download on Roku, Apple TV, FireTV Stick, Amazon FireTV, AndroidTV, Panasonic, Sharp, Sony, Samsung, Philips, LG, Huawei, and through most other Smart TV and Streaming devices.

It's either a main board issue or an issue with the button panel, I'd unhook the button panel and see if it works with the remote, if you can change things then it's in the buttons, I didn't pull up service info so it's possible the infrared and buttons are all one unit, in that case it will be harder to diagnose the issue

These units drive the LED to its limits and when the LED back light strips fail the problems start. The trouble is finding out if it is the LED strips or the power supply. This is not something that is easy to do. You need to have space to work on it and that usually is a large room to lay is down on. Then you need to take it apart and that involves using spudgers to separate the clamshell construction housing. Once you get it apart you can then start to troubleshoot the issue and see if it is the back light strips or the power supply. Some people just opt to order the power board and some times this works. Other times it does not. If you are going to test the strips then you need an LED tester and the process is tedious. Either way you go it likely to cost you about `100USD to get parts.

Sounds like Fault with its main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

did you change power supply? how many times does light flash (red) you didnt change the power supply did you use a vom on connections?

The T-Con board would have been the first board to look at . It controls the whole picture.
