My 2007 Vizio GV47L FHDTV10A 3647-0012-0150 keeps blowing the main board micro fuse #1 Vizio logo lights up and menu lights up too, but have to unplug TV to turn off?

I replaced the Power board because it was one of the least expensive things. I bought a new Vizio GV47L FHDTV10A 3647-0012-0150 main board but the Micro fuse blew out so I'm now going to solder an inline fuse so I don't mess up new board. What could be the issue please?

Does it blow the fuse with the LVDS cable removed? It it doesn't replace the tcon board if it has one, if it doesn't it sounds like a panel issue

hi Larry and thank you for you response. I ordered some inline fuses from Amazon that will be here this Friday. My plan is to solder one tail on each end of the blown micro fuse then I'll remove LVDS cable as you suggested plus do some other trouble shooting. I'll get back to you with my findings as soon as fuse kit comes and I do more testing. Thank you again......Troy

Have a Vizio TV: GV47L FHDTV10A. I turn on the TV, has sound but no picture. Did flashlight test & I CAN see an image when I shine the flashlight on the TV. Videos suggest an inverter slave. Any help?

Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

My HDMI inputs dont work on my VIZIO gv47L FHDTV10A what board do i need to replace

Most likely you will need to replace the main board. That model # uses several different main boards. The part # will be listed on the board. Make sure you order the exact part # of your old board.

Number one fuse on my main board is deadl vizio gv47l hd tv 10 amp

If fuse is dead, there must be some reason for that. Some short circuit or so. Without rectifying the fault, if you replace it with an other fuse, the fuse you insert will also blow out, and might make more faults to occur. The rating of fuse will be marked on the printed circuit board itself, very near to the fuse.

VIZIO GALLEVIA modle VIZIO GV47L FHDTV10A

Most plasma TV's have secoundary power boards, witch can be the cause, now I would try if I where you is to unplug it and let it set a hour or two, if that did not work then the tv will need to be looked at locally. The cause can be a bad power board inside the TV witch is a major cause why a Tv would have a power light put no function at all.

Hope this helps if you have any questions as to what parts to buy www.partstore.com is a best resource.
