Voice mails are set up from the phone company. Your phone has no control over the voice mailing service other than assigning a speed dial to it. You should call your phone company on their customer service number and they will tell your the number to call for setting up your voice mail box.
The scenario that you describe is typically caused by voicemail service on the carrier's side of the network. The majority of the time, a call being routed directly to voicemail is due to the phone not being 100% recognized on the network (perhaps this is a phone that is replacing a phone on existing account / number?) or roaming is not supported. Some forwarding modes may contribute, but not usually direct to voicemail unless you have inadvertently forwarded to voicemail explicitly.
access your voice mail from your phone and go through the option.....all service providers have different menu options so i cant walk you through the steps exactly, but the answer should be in personal settings or system settings.....many providers have the option of turning the automated system off....make sure its on and you will be good to go!!!! call your phone # when you here your greeting cant remember if you hit the #or the * but one of those will have your voice mail pass word then you con get your voice mail
if u can just try opening ur set clean it and put ur sim back it should work may be ur not in service provider range. try selecting some other network.
