Jenn-air JGS9900 downdraft slide in gas range - no power and electrical outlet IS working

The display panel and electric burner ignition are not working. The electrical outlet that is it plugged into has power. What can be the problem?

Well, it's either all the burners are burnt, or power is not getting to the unit. You have to check where the power stops. Fuses/breakers on the unit? Bad switches? Loose wire?

Oven doesn't heat up all the way on our Jenn-Air duel-fuel range
all repairs should be performed by an authorized service person. if your breakers were tripped there is a high voltage short or weak home breakers. when resetting the breakers make sure the dual breaker switches are in the on position. if the is ok check for the proper voltage is at the power outlet is correct.if it is ok unplug the range. be sure not to break the gas line. remove the rear panel check to see if the power cord power cord is secured to the power cord terminal.if the terminal is damaged do to the shortage at the terminal replace the terminal and power cord. when replacing the power cord and install the power cord restrain that usually comes with the.power cord.

No electrical power to ovens and control panel.
It appears that you have lost one half of your power. That is you no longer have 220 volts but do have 110, enouch to power the electronic ignition. I would check the circuit breaker first to see if it is sending power on both hot wires or just one.

ja_question.gif Why are the oven indicator lights flashing? Answer: When power is first supplied to the appliance, a flashing time will appear on the display.
If a flashing time appears at any other time, a power failure has occurred. Press Cancel, and reset the clock if needed.
When the oven is not in use, the display shows the time of day.
If the indicator lights keep flashing after you have tried to reset the controls, then you may need to contact service person.

The convect fan on my Jenn-Air SCE 30600 slide in range comes on intermittently even when the range is off(not cooking). Do I need to replace the control board? It started when we were using convect bake and the fan kept running after we shut the oven off. Then it would just come on and run even though we were not using the range. Then it would go off after some time. I also noticed that when I went to pull the range out today that when I lefted up on the lefdt front corner just below the left most control knob the fan woul stop. It would start again when I released the pressure.
