To all experts: What wrong with my Kenmore Elite dishwasher? The Smart Wash light blinking and the water not drain and I can't get rid of it. How to fix or reset?

I have a Kenmore Elite Ultra Wash Dishwasher 665.1319 and it won't get rid of the water it used completely

check the positioning of the waste water hose from the pump
it could be kinked from the re-installation, too high to drain or other re-modelling problems

This sounds like a door switch that is faulty on your main door so the system gets a signal saying its not closed properly and there for signals fault

Kenmore elite dishwasher model 630 Smart Wash light is flashing

You may want to try:
Press a series of four buttons in quick succession. Press "Heated Dry," "Normal Wash," "Heated Dry" and "Normal Wash" to instruct your Kenmore dishwasher to run a short diagnostic test.
Wait for two minutes while your Kenmore dishwasher runs its diagnostic test.
Press the "Cancel/Drain" button once your dishwasher has completed its diagnostic test. This should reset your dishwasher control panel.
Check to make sure that there's no standing water in the bottom of your dishwasher. Standing water in your dishwasher may indicate that your dishwasher has stopped mid-cycle. You will need to press the "Cancel/Drain" button before you can reset your dishwasher control panel.

try turning breaker panel for that off, and back on. might just need to be reset. If that doesn't work, call the repair man

Kenmore Elite: Model 66576962K601.

I had exact same issue. I've called Sears Maintenance. They had to change 2 pieces in UI: Timer KUDS02SRB10 and CONSOLE Assy. Cost 360$ pieces 130$ Job Charge 60$ taxes.
Now It works perfectly, but I bought 1100$ 3 years ago... Really expensive to keep it running.

Kenmore elite dishwasher, does not get the dishes wet

sounds like wash motor is not going . it will fill and control thinks motor is working . then it will drain wash water / ( drain pump is a different motor ) and then refill and so on .. never washes but fills and drains and heats. ( look for leakage under the motor i'm sure you will find some ..

press back and forth between hi-tempwash and sani rinse several times to get all lights to come on if not then press sani rinse and heated dry back and forth several times. one of though combos will start the test mode. the test mode will stop the light from blinking and you can use the dishwasher again

Kenmore Ultra Wash seems like not heating water My Kenmore Ultra Wash just stopped heating water. Soap pods don't dissolve completely and I tried running a dishwasher cleaner that has a wax plug - it came out with plug intact and still full. Kenmore Ultra Wash 665.1359 when I try to turn off HEATED DRY it locks the dishwasher and it won't work. I have learned not to press for too long 4 seconds but is there a best time or trick to turning off the HEATED DRY? I don't really need it and it is used in every cycle except Quick Rinse. Thank you.
