I understand you want to know where the leak sensor is on your Electrolux dishwasher, model# EDW5500DSS. Typically the leak sensor will be located underneath the tub area. There are no diagrams that show exactly where the sensor is located. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They have been trained on your appliance and will be able to best assist. Hope this is helpful.
I understand that you are having trouble with your Electrolux dishwasher, model# ESI 6104, not finishing the cycle and not heating up. I will be more than happy to assist you. From the model number provided, I show that this was made in the UK. I have done some research and have been able to find the UK Electrolux telephone number. If you call 08445 613 613, they will be able to better assist you in why your Electrolux dishwasher is not finishing the cycle and not heating up. Hope this is helpful.
If you have hard water, you should reduce the amount of detergent you use. Here's a map showing water hardness in the USA.

I've been dealing w/electrolux for 2 years & they can't get mine to work properly. Over 6 technicians & they now offer me 60% off of a new one. Like I want another Electrolux.NOT It took them a year and a half to get my Electrolux double oven to work. One oven went out & 8 times later, they finally got it to work. I will NEVER buy Electrolux again
