1st. remove the foot from the machine to give you working room.
2nd. get the long plate "throat plate" look at the under side, you will see 1 side the slide part crimp shut, this is the side that will be the front.
3rd. put the plate in place as it should be, then push it up thill it clear the metal clamp.
4th. use a screwdriver to lift the clamp metal so it fits into the grove of the plate, do this for both sides.

needle plate.
there is a fat stud and a small stud for the plate to fit in.
take the plate and slide it under the fat stud, it will lift as its spring loaded, push it all the way and then the small stud will fit into the other side

My Singer touch tonic has suddenly stopped advancing the fabric It sees but the feed dogs Appel to be locked I have tried pushing the red reset button but didn't help

Which specific model Singer Touch Tronic do you have? The Touch Tronic 2001 has a special cover plate and foot for darning and embroidery that blocks the feed dogs. Could that be installed on your machine? Try changing the cover plate to the zig-zag or straight stitch one, depending on your stitch choice. The zig-zag cover plate is appropriate for most stitches. Four different cover plates are listed in the included accessories on page 3 (page 5 of the PDF) of the manual.

Most Singer manuals are available here: https://www.singer.com/support . The Touch Tronic 2001 manual link is currently https://res.cloudinary.com/singer-sewing/image/upload/fl_attachment/Singer-Website-Library/outdated_product/5a0f6c95685a2d9c7d9a495892142df0f3a2707a_1.pdf .

I hope this helps. Unfortunately, if the other cover plates are not with the machine's accessories, I've only found a source for the slide plate. None of the cover plates appear to be available.

Singer 7033, how do you raise the dog feed.

The feed dogs on the 7033 shouldn't drop down. This model uses a cover over the feed dogs when doing free-motion sewing. To remove the cover, raise the needle and presser foot. Open the slide plate over the bobbin by sliding it towards you. Lift up the front edge of the cover and pull it away. Close the slide plate and lower the presser foot.
Many Singer manuals are available here: https://www.singer.com/support . The current link to the 7033 manual is https://res.cloudinary.com/singer-sewing/image/upload/fl_attachment/Singer-Website-Library/outdated_product/SINGER_7029_7033__7035_and_9410_Sewing_Machine.pdf . The cover is shown on page 8 of the manual. See page 12 for the picture of removing the feed dog cover.

I hope this helps. If the feed dogs are actually down and not covered, there is probably something broken in the sewing machine.

Bobbin latch on Singer Touch and Sew model 626 won't seat properly. Therefore plate covering bobbin case will not slide back into place.

Have you had the bobbin case out? If so, remove it again and replace carefully.Or contact manufacturer .

How do I replace the slide plate on my Singer 416?

Lift the sewing machine pressure foot and make sure the needle is not in the way. Slide the plate under the foot control. Use a flat head screw driver to lift the spring back onto the plate then slide it back.

I have a singer Model #6234. The bobbin is wound

If the bobbin case is defective this can cause the problem. However, this can be a difficult problem to repair, take it in and ask for an estimate to repair.

Singer 1060

slide open metal plate, there is a little white finger button with a target symbol on it just to the left. Slide this all the way left, leaving plate OPEN. If your top needle is threaded correctly, you should now be able to push the foot pedal to sew adn the bobbin will refill. make sure not to go past the outer white line on the bobbin case. good luck. the target button will go back to the original position when you slide the plate closed.
