I have a 2005 Weber Genesis Silver propane grill. The first and third burners work fine, but the middle burner will not ignite. I have cleaned it and still no flame in the middle. I'm about to order...

Jeanne - Did you remove the burner to clean? If not. you weren't able to clean the Venturi Valve, which is part of the burner. Spiders love to get in the Venturi Valve & build a nest. When that happens it stops the gas to that burner. I suspect, that may be the problem. The Venturi Valve, is part of the burner (the open end part) that's closest to you, when you face the front of the grill. It will look like 2 slots (one on each side) cut out of the burner tube, where it fits over the burner orifice. But, you can't see it, without removing the burner. An old tooth brush works well to clean it.

Hope this helped you to solve the problem. Please let me know and Happy Grilling!!

I thoroughly cleaned my Weber Genesis Silver A and have a full tank of gas. It won't get hotter than 250-300 degrees. Flames are blue.

You might have air block. When turning off the grill, leave one burner on and shut the tank valve.
When grill cools, close the remaining valve. When restarting the grill, open the tank valve, then the start burner, then the igniter. When first burner is going, open remaining two valves to preheat the grill.

This has worked on two different grills.

Back burner won't light on my Weber Genesis Silver A Gas Grill

Only front burner lights (out of three) and it only has flame comming out of half of the tube.

How do I take my Weber Genesis grill apart to clean the burners? The burners are not heating up properly. The flame is very poor and not hot enough to cook food.

Turn on just one burner, once it is lit, turn on a second burner, if the flame gets lower or goes out, you probably need a new regulator.

Weber Genesis outdoor grill. The ignitor clicks

If you hold down the igniter can you smell the gas coming out of the burners.

Have you disconnected the pipe from the barbie to see if the bottle regulator is actually letting gas through.

Turning the gas on in free air with no one smoking or naked fllames near the pipe is ok

You just crack open the valve a turn or two and you should hear and smell it.

If there is gas coming out og the pipe and not out of the burners then the gas control valve in the barbie is at fault and needs replacing

One burner has low flame

Try looking for webs back to where the burner tube meets the valve. Otherwise you need to remove burner tube to access back of valve to clean with a torch tip cleaner or compressed air, (remember to disconnect grill from gas source first) inside valve orifice.  Usually the back of valve can be removed with a wrench. Worst case you always get a new valve off internet if you can't resolve the plug. Hope this helps, good luck.
