Display dies and relay on the control panel keep clicking after closing door on Miele G4920 dishwasher

I replaced the control board of my Miele G4920 dishwasher. I programmed it for country and hardness with the door open as required. After closing the door all the LED;s go off and a relay keeps clicking - no other sounds or action.

Fault Showing F9 on display,

'make model (what it is)' in all questions needed on this site please. Otherwise we have to just guess. Brett says dishwasher, I say oven.

A faulty relay board is the most common cause of the F9 error. The relay control board responds to signals from the microprocessor display control board in the control panel by opening and closing relays to control voltage going to the burners, elements, or oven.Jul 7, 2021

I have a miele w4842 washer machine and it display fault.close the door and confirm with start.i did replace the inter lock switch but still not unlocking the door after the cycle finish

Unfortunately the Power control board on this is the fault - we have seen a few with this fault and it seems the relay that controls the door lock can be the culprit here

Kitchenaid D/W will not start, lights not all working, getting power. What's my problem?

Sylvia.....is the clean light flashing or any other for that matter? Either way it sounds like the control board is locked up. There are many posts on here about how to reset it. Try the following: With the door open:
Push Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry, Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry (all the lights should light up) then close the door and hit cancel. Push the buttons as fast as you can - within 4 seconds. This will unlock the control board and you should be able to restart the dishwasher. There are many issues with this Kitchenaid including the door popping open during cycle issue. I have dealt with all of them over the past 8 years of ownership. Finally replaced it with a used Miele and sold the KA on craigslist with full disclosure of all the issues and it's history. I even threw in the rubber door stopper that we resorted to using to keep the door closed. Let us know if the above procedure works for you. Good Luck.

Electrolux dishwasher fdb2310lcc1 flashing cl on display

Hello sandy miller, thanks for your post!
From my understanding your Electrolux dishwasher is flashing "CL". Typically, that stands for close door it could be an issue with the control panel, door latch, or door strike. I would recommend having a professional technician come out to properly diagnosis your dishwasher to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hope this helps. -Matt

No power

test this steps and fix it.God bless you

Thermal Fuse

If the dishwasher won't start the thermal fuse might have blown. The thermal fuse helps to prevent damage to the dishwasher by turning off power so that it doesn't overheat. Once blown, the thermal fuse will have to be replaced for the dishwasher to work. The thermal fuse is usually located in the control panel on the control board or mounted to the bottom of the tank behind the lower panel. The thermal fuse can be checked for continuity.

Door Switch

The door switch, or switches, are sometimes called interlock switches. The door switch prevents the dishwasher from running while the door is open. If the dishwasher won't start, the switch or switches might be defective. To access the door switches, remove the control panel or inside door panel - depending on the model. They can be tested for continuity.

The main control board provides power to nearly every component of the dishwasher. If the dishwasher won't start the main control board might be defective. You should first check for more common parts. Many times control boards are replaced unnecessarily because the problem was not diagnosed properly.

Touchpad and Control Panel

If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced. On some models the touchpad and control panel are sold together and will need to be replaced at the same time.

The timer allows power to flow to the proper parts at the proper times. If the dishwasher won't start, the timer might be defective. Keep in mind that timers are often misdiagnosed as the cause of a problem. Check other components first before replacing the timer.

RE: Miele dishwasher G1472 The door will not close. Does the lock work with a relay, or is just the plastic lock broken down? I should like to have a repair manual of this machine. Where can I find it?

Sorry mate - manuals are hard to come by from miele, only service agents have these and are bound by contractual obligations.
there is a door locking plate located mid top of the dishwasher which latches to the door, a locking mech. # 6022271 located on the door itself.
The locking mech is electrically controlled only when cycles are selected and you push start. The chances are where the latch system which clicks into the mech is likely to be worn or jammed, the door should click into place as you close it and electrically locked during the cycle.
I would say there is a mechanical problem with the machine more so than anything else.
