How can I change my Maytag from Fahrenheit to Celsius?

We have brought a place with a Maytag oven, model 8114P925-60 (02-03-00) and I'm struggling to work out how to change the temperature settings from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Any help much appreciated! I could only find manuals for newer models online, which told me to press and hold the "broil" button, but this didn't work.

To change: Press and hold BROIL for 5 seconds. A tone will sound, and "°C" or "°F" will appear on the display. Repeat to change back.I think the oven must be working to do it, otherwise contact the manufacturer for advice.

Thanks Eric. That doesn't work on my model (I saw that in the manual for the newer version of my model and tried it before asking on here). I'll reach out to the manufacturer.

Open the door and hold the broil button down for 10 second. This should change it.

Temp probe indicator stays on

sounds like your probe connection may be shorted. Can you inspect the probe itself, and perhaps do a test for continuity with an ohm meter? Also, you might be able to disable the probe in the menu settings, and run it on manual, just for a test.

(°F - 32) x 5/9 = °C

To convert (°C) Celsius to (°F) Fahrenheit use the formula below:

°C x 9/5 + 32 = °F

How do you change the key pad from celcius to ferenhite on my whirlpool acubake oven

Look for the button marked "Precise Clean" in the upper left corner of the control panel.

Press and hold this button for five seconds until the display reads "Temperature Unit Celsius.

Release the button and push it again for another five seconds until the display shows "Temperature Unit Fahrenheit."

Push the "Off/Cancel" button to lock in the Fahrenheit setting.

Press (precise)clean for 5 seconds, display shows temp Celsius press it again for 5 secs display shows temp Fahrenheit, press off/cancel to store

If my grandmothers cookbook says to bake something at 175 Celcius, what is that in farenhite?

175 degrees Celsius is equal to 347 degrees on the Fahrenheit scale.

The conversion formula is
Fahrenheit temperature = (9/5 x Celsius temperature)+ 32

Is the temperature in celsius or farenheit

If it is Celsius it would only go up to 250, Fahrenheit would be marked to about 500. You can download a user manual here.
You can do conversions between celsius and Fahrenheit here.
