M&S MC-350A Intercom Master Unit showing realize on the display even with all speaker disconnected?

    Sorry, RELS ... if I'm not wrong that means "door release" ... that is what supposed do happens when on the main unit you press and hold the "DOOR TALK" and "ROOM TALK" for 5 seconds ... so it release the door (case wired for that)

    The problem is that all speaker are disconnected, so not short circuit on wiring causing that, also check the push buttons and they NOT "locked" to the end.

    Also those 2 buttons don't works as they should ... it supposed when you press for example "DOOR TALK" it supposed to show in the display "TALK" and when you release it supposed to show "LIST" for 20 seconds

    I already check the resistor on the button board and they are OK ... they have 10K what return 5v for the processor, and 5K and 22K and a diode which in combination with the push button drop the voltage to 1.6v , 3.4v and 0.5v depend on the combination of pressing ... it's like the main processor is not getting reference for this voltage ... the voltage from the buttons are there, I already checked on the processor board, according to the push button, but like the processor needs a reference and is not present.

Reset M&S mc350a?
In this case, it is best to disconnect all room stations from the system. This can help determine if a room station is causing the issue or if it is a bad master unit. Once the room stations are disconnected, go back and try to set the clock, turn on radio, etc. If the problem is still happening, it is a defective master. If the problem has stopped, try adding back wiring while continuing to test the system.

Broan kn350 intercom has a "list" error code on the display - how to fix or reset
Hold "up" - 2 - display. Release display first. Should get a "TEST" indication in LCD window. Turn Circuit Breaker that controls unit off for 15 seconds. Then reset clock and reprogram stations.

Usually receivers go into overload due to a bad speaker make sure you disconnect the speakers also to make sure its overloading from a bad speaker. If the unit still shows overload even with all speakers disconnected, then your main amplifier output has a short usually a shorted output transistor is the cause. Unplug the speakers one at a time to and turn the unit on after disconnecting one of the speakers , to determine which speaker is at fault.

Can not rec a dial tone, phone states no link to base move closer

If “No link to base. Move closer to base, try again.” is displayed
even when using the handset near the base unit, the handset may have lost communication with the base unit. You need to re-register the handset to the base unit.
• Make sure the base unit is not being used.
• Have both handsets and base unit nearby during registration.
• Follow steps 1–3 listed below. You have about 1 minute to complete them.
• Confirm the extension number of the handset which has lost the communication by placing the handset on the base unit or charger.
 If you re-register the handset using the other handset’s extension number, the other handset will not function.
• If the handset beeps 3 times and “Error!!” is displayed, an error occurred. Try again from step 1.
• You can stop registration by pressing [OFF] on the handset, and pressing [LOCATOR/INTERCOM] on the base unit.

1 Base unit: Press and hold [LOCATOR/INTERCOM] until a beep sounds.
• The CHARGE indicator flashes.

2 Base unit: Press the extension number [1] (handset symbol 1 ) or [2] (handset symbol 2) of the
handset which has lost the communication.

3 Handset: Press and hold [FLASH/CALL WAIT] until “Handset Registering” is displayed.
• When registration is complete, a beep sounds from the handset and the display shows the number.
• Wait for 20 seconds after registration is complete while the handset establishes communication with the base unit.


• If the handset beeps 3 times and “Error!!” is displayed, an error occurred. Try again from step 1.
• You can stop registration by pressing [OFF] on the handset, and pressing [LOCATOR/INTERCOM] on the base unit.

What is the master reset code for the denon avr 1508?
Turn the unit off by main switch (not a standby button).
Press and hold "Speakers-A" and "Speakers-B" buttons and turn on main switch.
Display blinks.
Release the buttons after 3 seconds.
Receiver is reseted.

To change the time, go to extension 10, while keeping the handset on hook, push intercom, then dial # 6 5 2, enter the new time ie. 102510 (hour, min, seconds), then push the redial key to save. That should do it. to set the day use the intercom # 653 code (1=Sun, 2=Mon, ect). To change the date use the intercom # 651 code (ie. 080510). If that does not do it, you may have a different model key service unit, and you will need to notate which system your using.
