Are there proven print and scanner drivers that work with Phaser 8560MFP?

This is no longer supported, the scan/print quality is good enough for me. I will appreciate your help in finding the drivers

    the printer can also run diagnostics and can produces error codes

    24year old printers, cost more to fix than buy good one.
    lets see.
    1: print head clogged. (old ink slug)
    2: 4 bad printer ink cartridges bad
    3: HDD bad.

    there service manual is missing one there web site SO I ASSUME they want cash for it.

You need the new driver. Goto the Xerox website and download the latest driver and save it on your C: drive. Goto Devices and Printers and remove your existing Xerox 8560MFP. Reboot your computer and go back to this screen and click on "add a printer". When you get to the screen "Install the printer driver" you will see Xerox 8560MFP PS highlighted DO NOT CHOOSE THIS! (you will simply be installing the same driver from Windows 7 back). Instead, Click on "Have Disk... and navigate to where you saved the driver. Choose that one and finish the install.

THE UPPER UNIT FLASHES ON THE SCREEN WITH ERROR CODE 39,003,40;75554

On the Xerox 8560MFP multifunction, this error code 39,003 signifies a Scanner problem, specifically that the Optical Test has failed. the 75554 is your current page count on the printer.
The Scanner Assembly 062K22590 must be replaced. It is fairly expensive, but moderately easy to replace.
You should also order the Scanner Calibration Sheet 109K01910 to make sure that margins and contrast are correct.
The scan/ document section is broken into 2 main parts, the Scanner, and the Automatic Document feeder. The feeder section is probably working fine.

No it doesn't. It is a shame because theoretically it is capable but it would require firmware/driver alteration which Xerox are unlikely to do.

Xerox Phaser 8560MFP: When in sleep mode, the printer still wakes up to do a warm up test and then goes back to sleep. How can I turn this off?

Look in the setups.
It might be a good idea to print out the setup sheets. Look under sleep mode and set the time accordingly to what you want.
Alternatly go to the WWW.xerox.com website for assistance.

What you can try is shut down the Machine and unplug the powercord and unscrew the cable next to the powercord.
It's from the scanner.
after that reconnect both cable's and turn it back on.

and it should be fixed

Xerox 8560MFP won't print first page from one tray and rest from another

Microsoft word overides the print driver for page choice. Choose from within word File | Page Setup | Paper.
Tray one on this printer is the manual feed tray. tray 2 is the first drawer.
Ensure the printer driver is set up for the additional trays
