Turn off tablet by pressing and holding the power button until the tablet switches off.
Press the volume up button and keep it pressed while pressing the power button to start the tablet again.
The tablet should enter the Engineer's mode, displaying a text menu.
Use the volume button to scroll the menu and the power button to select an option.
Carry out the Reset To Factory option to delete everything.
To factory reset: 1. Turn off the tablet 2. Press and hold volume down and power simultaneouly. Hold it for 30 seconds until an Android logo will appear on screen then let go. 3. Scroll down by pressing Volume down and Volume up to select any from the selection. 4. Select Wipe Data/Reset and select wipe data again and wait till it`s done. 5. Go back to the menu and select reboot to restart the system. Once the tablet has been restarted it will all be back to default values.
Try performing a power reset. There should a power reset button near the charging port. It looks like a tiny hole. While plugged into the charger, use a paperclip to push the button inside this hole for 3-5 seconds. If it turns on, please allow it to charge for 4-6 hours before using it. If you leave it on the charger for longer than the allocated time, you will go back to having the same problem as before.
To perform a factory reset: While the power is turned off hold the power button and up volume button by pressing them. Keep holding them until something appears on the screen. Then release and you should be given the option to erase all the data from the Kocaso tablet.
