Midea DT23Dh T.P. 6-Wire motor wiring diagram help?

Hello! I have an old window unit I don't quite want to give up on yet, and the main board died. I decided to replace the already digital controller with a 115v-250v 2 speed fan switch as it has gone kaput on me. However I cannot for the life of me find a diagram for the motors! There are 2 Blue (One connected to a CBB61; connected to COM pad on original board.); Red, White (Also connected to the CBB61 in original configuration); Black, and Brown The fan was originally a digital 3 speed bi-directional fan. If someone can help me figure out what the last 3 wires do, I can finally get my exhaust fan back up and running again!

What’s the model number off the new fan motor?

  • Anonymous Jun 29, 2022

it's still the original motor as it worked before the board died, so it just says DT23Dh T.P. on it. It kind of looks like a GEH-WJ94X10206 but the wire colors are different, and it doesn't have a ground wire (which I do plan to add at some point). I've tried looking for the motor online to get a part number, however all of the ones that look right, are missing the 2 blue COM wires. It appears they have some heat resistant covering at the bases (coming from another punch out in the metal) presumably so they don't burn up from the motor.

From what I can gather from what little labels I can read, they are 115V 4 amp motors, but could also be 2 amp.
The motors have little to no information other than the DT23Dh T.P. label on them under the blades. There is a fuse in the plug and inside the unit rated at 4 amps.

Kenmore elite washer model 110.45088400 gives me a. f15 error code. It won't spin

This error indicates that the motor can't start. This could indicate that the motor is bad or the motor control unit has a fault. There also could be a broken wire between the motor and the MCU or between the MCU and the main control board. The main control board could also be at fault. There is a tech sheet in the washer (either behind the control panel or near the bottom of the washer behind the access hatch). Use this to check if the motor has been damaged. Then check the rest of the wiring. The parts diagrams are available here: https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model/5ceg9mdqy4-000583/kenmore-elite-11045088400-washer-parts .

I hope this helps.

Powertech treadmill - incline not working

Hi this is Jamie from FitFix.ca. under the hood you will see the elevation motor which usually is a large silver round housing and what they call a worm screw, giant looking screw basically. Follow the wires off that motor to the lower board. They usually come in 2 ways, either a solid plug that all wires will run into or they could be separately plugged into board. Wire colours are black, red, white nd sometimes a green ground. Your bets bet though is the unplug everything one at a time and plug them right back in. There is also a main data cable that runs from the lower board to the back of the console. You'll have to remove the scores on the back to access the upper board and then you can check that plug as well. make sure you unplug the units wall plug before trying this. Once done plug back in and try. if it doesn't work it could be 1 of 3 things. Console is bad, lower board is bad or the elevation motor itself is dead. Depending on how old that unit is it may not be worth sinking any money into it. Look for a good reconditioned unit or buy new again. Hope this helps

Electric windows not working but locking the doors when you push it

Had the same issue, both doors controls stopped working at the same time making the power windows, power mirrors, and power door locks all stop working. However, when the engine was off the door lock would work. It could be many things, but the fact that they all quit working at the same time suggested it wasn't an individual motor. I pulled the door main control panel and with a wiring diagram checked the continuity of each switch through the electrical plug out back. You can get the diagram off kiatechinfo.com

The main door control turned out to be good (expensive part). It wasn't getting power to the control, which meant it was either a broken power wire or a bad ground interrupting the circuit. The easiest to test was the ground. I ran a small wire from the negative battery and put it in the main ground wire on the back of "main door control panel". Worked perfectly on both doors. Apparently the ground for the door accessories are somewhere on the floor board, they corroded from a leaking sunroof. Never could find the bad ground so i just ran a new ground wire to it from the engine (drill a screw into body and attach wire)

Wiring- Connecting wiring on replaced fan motor

Your new fan motor should have a diagram with it or at least printed on the side of the motor, that will help a lot from your end. As for me, I don't know what unit you have, so I will try to help you with just the basics.

Your old motor probably had 3 wires. One went to the contactor, that is the "Line Voltage", one went to the Common terminal on the old capacitor (COM), that's the other "Line Voltage" wire, and the last one went to the "FAN" terminal on the old capacitor. The reason the old capacitor looks different is because it works for both the compressor and the fan motor (split capacitor). You still need this hooked up for the compressor to work.

The new fan motor.
These vary in brands and wiring so I can not tell you the colors without knowing exactly which motor you have. On the new motor wiring diagram, you should see the "Line Voltage" as described above that 2 of the wires are ran to each other (just on the diagram, not wired together on the unit). This is your power wire that goes to the contactor on the unit, usually black, and your Common wire that runs to the capacitor. You can still run this wire (COM) to the common terminal on the old capacitor since you still have to use the old capacitor for the compressor and the common terminal should still be jumper-ed from the contactor to the (COM) terminal. Then you will probably have 2 wires for the new capacitor, usually Brown and Brown/White. These wires run to each side of the new capacitor and doesn't matter which terminal. Then you will take a new jumper wire from the (COM) terminal on the old capacitor to the terminal on the new capacitor that has your Brown/White lead. Make sure you secure the capacitors inside the unit so not to touch anything surrounding them. Your new motor might also be a "Reversible" motor that has reversing wires also. Again, your new motor diagram can tell you how to hook these up. You have to have it spinning the right way, most of the time it is CCW (counter-clockwise).

I'm sorry I can't be any clearer on this, but without knowing the brands, models, etc, I'm in the dark. If you need any additional help, I would be glad to help! Good luck and hope you get to cooler days!

Front loader maytag stop in middle cycle give error F25

Remove your service panel and look for your tech sheet inside a jacket in the inside of the service panel. An F-25 is usually a broken wire between the main control and the motor control.

Unit exactly one year old. Was interruped by lightning strike last night. Afterwards air handler blowing, but not cooling? Turned unit of at temostat, waited a few minutes, turned back on and unit (both...

Marion, if there was a lightning strike and then a power surge when the power came back ON, I don't doubt what the servicemen had to say. The age of the unit plays no role in it, when something like this happens. Power surges can be killers to electrical appliances. That's why it always wise to turn the unit off during a power outage. Just ask anyone who was in Irene's path a couple of weeks ago. Power went out for days & weeks for some, when it came back ON, electrical appliances were damaged or ruined or started house fires.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

My washer has a f1 code will not spin or wash

OK, your unit is quite unique. this unit has a integrated control design that houses the main and motor control board. both are combined on the same board. this error code represents a failed Machine and motor control board. this single control board works as the main controller and, as the motor controller as well. This board has failed in your unit and, you will need to replace this board asap if possible.
