KitchenAid countertop oven,do they have a replaceable fuse? The power light doesn't come on. I replaced a fuse in a microwave once, so I thought maybe.......

Hello Susan Bailey,
Typically "THEY" do...
It would be really great to know if we are talking about a USA domestic product...
or another NATIONALITY.
Other countries normally have FUSES in the
appliance cords.

Find your MODEL NUMBER and go to a PART/SPARES
supplier ( I like appliancepartspros.com )
-> appliancepartspros.com
If this is a "MICROWAVE" the FUSE will start popping because the MAGNETRON has deteriorated
and is CONSUMING it's own energy.

I can be a LOT MORE specific if you provide a
model number (pretty please).

After using the self cleaning feature of our Kitchenaid KEBC107KSS single wall oven, it will not heat up. After reading numerous complaints from other people with a similar problem it seems there is a...

If you slide your oven out and take off the center panel on the back of the oven you will see the thermal fuse. If it's like mine, it will be located (looking from the back of the oven) upper right hand side. It's an oblong loooking part with two terminals with wires attached to it and two screws holding it on. Once you take it off, you will notice that it is flat on the back side and you should be able to see part # 9759242. Only reason I know this is that I have just removed mine and am going to see if I can find one locally. Same thing happened to mine after putting it in the cleaning cycle to clean up after the holidays.
Hope this helps!

I have a KitchenAid microwave/oven combo unit model KEMS308. When the oven is on, there is a lot of heat blowing out of the space between the oven and the microwave (microwave is on top). My husband...

That is where the vent is. You should feel some hot air there. If you do not feel the air that is the time to worry. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Whirlpool Wall oven/microwave combo unit Door message
Does anyone know where the 15 amp fuse is? I replaced the 20amp fuse and it worked for a minute or two and then I opened the door and I blew my circuit breaker. I reset my circuit breaker, replaced the 20 amp fuse and now all I get is the Door message. I also noticed that it fused the outside switch on the right side of the door so I had to open the switch up and un-fuse it. This is for a whirlpool GMC305PRS01 Wall Oven/microwave combo unit.

Also if anyone could tell me the correct position the wire is supposed to be hooked up on the switches? I had someone help me take the switch out and they unhooked the wires and now we aren't sure how they are supposed to be hooked up. My light on the microwave doesn't work either. Is it possible the bulb blew when the fuse blew?

This sounds like a blown thermal fuse, a common problem. What model oven was this?

KitchenAid Wall and Microwave Oven Combo - KEMS308SSS

Have had this oven for 8 years. At least three times, usually after using the clean cycle in the main oven, the latch mechanism has broke and the oven door will not open. In March they installed a 'new design' to prevent this. It's seven months later, and it broke again. Has anyone had similar experiences? How did you resolve?

OVEN will not heat

KitchenAid KEBC107KSS does not heat hot enough and does not heat evenly. When the temperature is dialed higher, it burns the cookies. When the convection fan is on, it has a 'cooling effect' so the temperature never reaches the proper level. Is this problem repairable? Or is this a thermostat issue? Thank you for your help!
