Radio shuts off intermittently all wiring was cheched and is good

If the wiring checks good you may have bad solder connections it the radio or the contacts on the face and subpanel (the part the face connects to on the front of the deck). Try cleaning the contacts on the face and subpanel with either qtips and rubbing alcohol or a pencil eraser. An old toothbrush dipped in rubbing alcohol might work too.

Alpine CDA-9847R. Stations reset when engine switched off

Hi. On the back of the ISO lead switch the red and the yellow. The VW constant positive (station memory) comes off a different pin to other cars. Therefore when you are switching your engine off you are switching the memory power.

A.M. stations

What type of vehicle is it in? Some manufacturers, such as Toyota, use separate antenna plugs for AM and FM that cannot be plugged into an aftermarket unit at the same time.

CDA-9885 Alpine No audio from Ipod - CD Playback not working

Disconnect whatever is attached to the BLUE wire at the back of the Alpine deck. Re-connect it to the BLUE/WHITE wire instead. This should solve your problem.
