I have misplaced the manual for IDM 9520 dvd/pm3 player. where can I find one online?

Google the model number of the unit with battery or open and look at the battery for a generic type and Google that.

This can be a faulty backlight bulb in the screen but more likely the screen inverter has developed a fault, replacing the inverter would probaly cure it or check the connections to the inverter for a dry joint and possibly reflowing the solder may also do it.
If your not sure what the inverter is then I would throw the player away and get a new one.

tell me if other discs are working on ur dvd player....if the problem presists then repair or service your dvd player

Chances are the Laser that reads the disc has gone bad. It's usually cheaper to buy a new one instead of having it repaired.
