The tv turned off a night because we loss electricity, heavy rain and wind and the tv never turned on again, I changed the power board/cable, and I just bought a mainboard not installed yet, I tested today the USB I received from Hisense to fresh install/restart the firmware we thought maybe it's stuck in a boot loop and yes, I tried EVERY soft/hard reset possible, the only clue I have is the white LED blinking 1 blink follow with 1 second pause, repeat., is this white blinking mean this isn't a hardware issue it's more a LED burned? Or the LED controller dead? It's a Hisense 75Q8G used less than 30 hour bought last year I didn't use this tv much I worked too much to use it since I bought it
You're correct on your theory of defective backlights, it's a common failure on this model set, replace them and the set should work again..The service code you're getting is backlight issues
