its a 5 pin which all radshack radios are and they are all,99% anyway, wired the same . So take an old radshak mic apart at the plug and see how it is wired then experiment from there.
One is a $20 mic and the other is a $30 mic. Both are "karaoke" mics. I can buy an AIWA DM-H100 Cardioid Microphone for $5 on eay and an Aiwa DM-H15 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone for $6.
You will need to unscrew the headshell (round mesh) and then remove the dynamic element and its damping rings (if any). Sometimes these are push-fit and you have to pull very hard to get it out, risking pulling the delicate wires out of the element. Sometimes there is a circlip or other securing mechanism which you will need to remove first. If you manage to get it open you will have to glue the switch back in place, using super glue or epoxy. Alternatively you could wedge the switch in place using a plastic/ rubber wedge.
