Tahoe TPI7000LXH Portable Generator. It shuts down after 10 seconds running, believe it is overcharging the starting battery, that's the cause of the issue. How does this generator charge the battery?

The circuit breaker is nothing more than a safety switch that connect wires, If after turning it on the generator shuts down, trace the wire at the output end of the breaker and most likely you will find a wire short circuited to the body or some where. Your problem is most likely a short circuit, (Line or pisitive touching neutral or ground.

The circuit board that is under the start /stop switch on the generator has failed.

The monitoring system of our Kohler propane generator has sent a "UU" message. What does this mean as it causes the generator to shut down 10 seconds after starting? Also how can this be corrected?

check for correct oil level in sump as indicates low oil sensor is shutting it down
check replace low oil sensor unit

No, not the filter, you will need to try to prime the carb better then with starting fluid, pour some gasoline down the carb, you may have to do this a few times, but everything will fire back up again once you get the air out of the system

I hate to ask,is there oil in it?There's a shut off for low oil level,it's to save the engine from starving for oil.

loud your battery again and see if ti keep running it down--if yes check the battery loading size it suppose to be around 12-13.
less then 9-10 in most cases it's the alternator cause another thing is your battery could be out of work
