Fisher & Paykel WA4127G1 Washing Machine. It is out of balance during spin cycle

I have taken tub out and cleaned. spring is attached. The 4- shock rods seem to be in good condition. even when run rinse cycle when machine starting the fast spin it starts the unbalance spin. I know there is water from company that is supposed to help keep balance during spin but seems like it would have more than one spring to help. And what i have found that's all it needs. I don't think it should spin out of balance when empty?

Question edited for clarity.

The spring doesn't look to be part of the suspension system. It just holds the drum centralised. It has 4 Damper rods for the spin. The part has been superseded by a new set so they must have have issue. Yours need replacing. They sell them as a set. This site has a funny format. The suspension rod kit is listed at the top, the parts schematic is accessed by keeping on scrolling down the page.

Small red clip appeared on rim after being off balance. spring attached.

There is a small red clip that holds a stabilizing spring (notice items 7 & 8 in the graphic) which attaches to the top of the tub cover at the front, left side. You might be able to push the tub assembly to the back, right corner to better see this, but it is easiest to reinstall with the top of the machine removed. If the clip is broken or the spring stretched they will need to be replaced. The unit can work without these parts, but is more likely to experience out of balance problems.

How do I fix the last few seconds of spin that vibrates off balanced and aloud noise.

All front-load washing machines have shock absorbers that are used to dampen the tub movement in the spin cycle. The shock absorbers or struts are attached to the base frame and to the outer tub and you will need to remove the front panel or the rear panel to access them. When shock absorbers weaken or become damaged, the machine will often make a loud banging sound during the spin cycle and if the symptom is not corrected, can lead to damage of other components. Inspect the shocks for signs of broken attachments, leaked fluids or a weakened dampening action and replace both shocks if worn. Remove power from the appliance before attempting this repair.

Some models of top-load washers use tub dampening straps to cushion the movement of the tub during the spin cycle. There are four straps attached to the top of the tub and to each corner of the cabinet

Also There are four suspension rods that suspend the tub and allow the tub to free float. If the suspension rods are noisy, there will be a squeaking noise during wash. You can fix this by putting bearing (lithium base) grease in the cup that each rod rests in. If it continues to squeal replace all four rods the cups come with the rods, replace them as well.

If your washer has a loud banging noise during spin the balance weight may be loose. This weight is to counter act the weight of the motor so you will find the weight directly behind the motor. Sometimes simply tightening the bolts will fix your issue but if the bolts are stripped out get some bolts slightly longer than the original bolt to allow you to put a locking nut on the bottom side of the mounting plate. If the weight is broken replace it.

Lastly Washer vibration can be caused by a broken counter balance spring. Ur washer may be equipped with one or more counter balance springs which help to absorb the natural movement of the spinning tub. If a counter balance spring fails the tub might lean in one direction more than another and it will shake and cause vibration.
By the way my advice is free cuz God is good!

Fisher and paykel out of balance switch fault

Machine should reset when it has regained "balance". It is possible the the OOB switch lever is stuck on the tub ( it is under the top in the right corner and hangs parallel to the tub ). Move tub around and reset load. Sometimes the OOB switch get corroded or breaks and needs to be replaced in order to clear the fault. Call F/P.

Out of balance during wash

Ok you need to check your machine is level- if not adjust feet. You aslo need to check the Bias spring is still attached if not get a new one or re-attach it. The Bias spring is a little spring that connects from the top of the front left suspention rod to the top of the plastic bowl cover (this spring is meant to help stop it going out of balance so easy. Cheers
