Firstly check if your SD card is not full yet, secondly from your settings deactivate the flash and try to snap with flash off and thirdly you can reset the camera. I hope this can help you fix it.

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

seems like your LCD screen has malfunctioned. Contact the manufacturer (canon) for a possible solution. If they can't fix it...they might send u a new one...good luck! hope this helps!
It sounds to me you have a CCD issue, which is the part of the camera that captures and converts the image to be digitally saved to your memory card (very overly simplified for the sake of diagnostics). If you can see your menus and everything else just fine on the camera, and the photos and live view are looking like that, then I would say you have a CCD issue. You might try to send the camera in to Canon for a repair, or if its under warrenty, even bettter!
