Fisher Paykel Dish Drawer Is Leaking At The Bottom
Hi friends. I have a Fisher Paykel single-drawer dishwasher model #DD24SI6. A few days ago it would start beeping red and stop working after starting a cycle, with error code E2 when opening the machine, it would highlight the delicate cycle, which is how this machine communicates error codes. It turns out the motor rotor was bad as it had fused with the housing and would not spin freely. I was able to remove it after some time and replaced it with an OEM replacement #524285P. This part is technically a newer vision, but the manufacturer doesn't make the original and they recommend this part to replace it as it's compatible. I installed it today, ran one Rinse cycle, and all seemed fine but I noticed when I opened the drawer that water was leaking out the bottom. The plastic housing attached to the bottom of the motor/bin area has water in it, along with the tray in the cupboard. I don't know why water is here rather than in the proper drainage path. Any ideas? Thanks.

There are two pieces of drain house in a double drawer FP dishwasher. The one from top drawer, the one from bottom drawer which then merge into a U adapter before hoing as a single hose into the kitchen sink.
I don't think anything can be achieved by taking the bottom drawer out. If the obstruction is in the top drawer drain hose, you will have to take that out and turn it over and disengage the hose from the bottom of the sump. Your best bet is to refer to this install guide on removing the drawers. Refer page 7 step 2. Fisher Paykel DishDrawer Installation Instructions ManualsOnline com
Use reverse method to put it back in. Make sure you keep a stool nearby to hold the drawer in place and not let it fall on the floor. The cables and hoses are very tight and need care when handling.
Sorry did not see your problem report earlier. If you have checked the sensor under the bottom drawer and it is dry, then F1 is caused by top drawer power filter fault. This means the bottom drawer controller is giving the F1 error but the top drawer controller has no power. Can you confirm this.
I have a single drawer F&P dishwasher. This morning a safety switch trigged. This afternoon when I went to use the dishwasher found that it had no power. There are no lights and there was a smell of something burning. The power outlet has power. Can you help?
