I'm assuming from what I've researched is a blown fuse. Anytime I plug the TV in or turn it on the logo will Flash it will Flash and then it will turn black. It will repeat this over and over. I have pictures of the fuses that need to be replaced but I just want to make sure from an expert that I'm going to be getting the right ones. So if anyone could tell me exactly what I need complete what I need to order I would appreciate that thank you so much. Is there anyway to upload pictures?
Where did you learn the fault you have is a bad fuse and did you test the fuse for continuity? This sounds more like a backlight issue if the lamps are flashing on and off.
Testimonial: "The TV itself keeps restarting. But I watched some YouTube videos about TV repair and people who have had the same issues and this is how they repaired it. The only difference was the model was an E3 and not an E1 So I'm not sure if it takes the same fuses. But they are not flat at the tops, they bulge out. I know it takes some soldering but my Dad knows how to do that really well. I understand that working with electronics can be dangerous especially if you do the wrong thing. I am trying to learn so I don't mess up. If I take it to the local repair shop it's going to cost almost half the price we paid for it and we might as well just save up and buy a new one if we go that route."
First off the E1 and E3 will be the same TV, there may be some component changes in the 3 but basically they will have the same components. Start by testing the fuse with an multimeter sets on ohms and see if you see an open circuit or a short to see if the fuse is good or bad, then we can go from there.
Sorry I haven't responded but I've been busy lately. Thank you for the information. I believe my dad has the tester required I will ask him and get back to you when possible.
