65" Hisense U8G, Tv has multi colored rings that radiate outwards from middle of display
So imagine the image being displayed is near black. Now what I'll see in this scenario is a darker shade oval in the center of the display and than, like when a pebble is dropped in a pond, there are rings that radiate outwards from that oval that are semi transparent red, yellow, green, blue, purple etc. Regardless of the source, quality, picture settings, viewing conditions, I have narrowed it down to an issue with the physical tv operation. What could cause this?

Based on the symptoms you described for your Hisense model 50h5c TV, it seems that there may be a hardware issue affecting the display. Without being able to diagnose the TV in person, it is challenging to pinpoint the exact parts that may need replacement. However, there are a few components that commonly contribute to display issues:
T-Con Board: The T-Con (Timing Control) board controls the timing and signals sent to the display panel. If there are issues with half of the screen or black screen with half lines, a malfunctioning T-Con board could be a potential culprit.
Display Panel: The display panel itself could be defective, causing the black screen or half-line issue. Unfortunately, replacing the display panel can be costly and often not cost-effective compared to purchasing a new TV.
Main Board: The main board handles various functions of the TV, including signal processing and overall control. In some cases, issues with the main board can cause display problems.
the accessories replacement was a smart move. Please attempt to run a channel scan before updating your tvs firmware. Otherwise, I would run a factory reset on the tv and watch for the display-color issue again.
according to your observation we called abnormal picture & common mode choke coils are defective l3000,whech are near to LVDS connecter there are 3 coils & must change all coils after replacing these coils your set will ok
Dear Jeff, It seems like the Horizontal IC in your TV is dying. This and the Vertical IC is responsible for displaying images on your TV. (Look at your TV through your Phone Camera and you will see upward scrolling lines. This is the Horizontal IC in action.) I would strongly advise you to get your TV repaired immediately.
Monitors, otherwise known as displays or screens, currently come in two formats: LCD and Trinitron ("the boxy thingy"). LCD pros: Flat, low radiation (as far as I know) LCD cons: displays can either come with or develop "dead pixels" - pixels that remain a solid color or display black, are very fragile - pressing the display surface is not "healthy" for the display Trinitron pros: deep color Trinitron cons: relatively moderate-to-medium radiation Both types of displays can suffer from "screen burn" - if an image is displayed for too long (several hours/days) it will permanently "burn" itself into the display and be visible at all times.
You most likely have image burn in on the display if it is not in a straight line. If it is in a straight line than it can be dead pixels. It is most likely the first issue I saw this same issue at work with an HP plasma TV.
