My sports afield gun safe when punch in my code a red and green light appear on the keypad but it won't open when I turn the vault knob and I don't where my key is any suggestions thanks

Your instruction manual tells you how to change the code on page 10. It has a reset button. The Support number is at the front and they also supply keys.

INITIAL BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Remove the key plate cover, insert the key into the keypad and open the door.
2. Remove the battery cover plate located on the inside of the door.
3. Install 4 AA batteries provided and replace the battery cover.
NOTE
: If both the red and green lights are on while the safe is open, this indicates that the batteries are low and need
to be changed.

TO SET UP OR CHANGE A USER CODE
1. With the door open, locate the red button on the back of the door near the hinge.
2. Press the red button and listen for the beep.
3. Immediately enter your new passcode (3-6 digits long)
4. Immediately after entering your new passcode, press the "A" or "B" button on the keypad. Your new user passcode is now stored.
NOTE:
This safe stores up to 2 passcodes (a user code and a manager code). Entering a third code will erase the
first passcode entered.

SETTING UP OR CHANGING A MANAGER PASSCODE
1. Open your safe with the passcode you wish to change and leave the door ajar.
2. Press the "0" button on the keypad twice. Press the red button, listen for a beep and then enter your new user passcode.
New user passcodes may be 3-6 digits long.
3. Immediately after entering your new code, press the "A" or "B" button on the keypad. Your user code is now changed.
OPENING THE SAFE
1. Input your code and then press the "B" button, the green light will turn on.
2. Turn the knob clockwise within 5 seconds to open the door.
3. Each key pressed will be accompanied by a buzzer and a yellow flashing light. If the entered code is invalid the yellow light will
flash and the buzzer will quickly sound, this indicates the code needs to be re-entered.

CAUTION
: Entering the incorrect passcode 3 times will lock the system for 20 seconds.

Spot Afield safes default code is 1,2,3,4,5,6. Open the safe door, with door open lock the handle. This will let you have assess to your things if you have trouble while setting the codes. To change the code, press the * 6 times. You should hear a single beep and one flash from the LED, then enter the default code 1,2,3,4,5,6. Again you should hear one beep and see one flash. Enter the new code you would like to use ...lets say 6,5,4,3,2,1. You should hear one beep and see one flash. Enter the new code again 6,5,4,3,2,1. The code should now be set to 6,5,4,3,2,1. Try the new code and see if it unlocks the door. Also try the old code to make sure it no longer works.. If at any time during the process you hear 3 beeps and flashes something went wrong. You will need to start over.

You can turn off the "Beep" sound of the keypad by entering the code 633.
To turn the "Beep" sound on, enter the code 66

Enter the 1,2,3,4 factory number.
When the door opens, immediately press all 4 keys are once and release.

A red light will come on. then enter new code. lamp will turn off.

I have a # of W-565040 and cannot open the safe with keypad or key. Please help

Here are the Instructions I have to my older (Sept 1998) GV2000-A:

PROGRAM YOUR SECRET CODE:

Enter the 1,2,3,4 factory number.
When the door opens, immediately press all 4 keys are once and release. This will cause the red lamp to come on, so programming can begin.

Note: Avoid doing this in bright light.

Enter your new secret code. The lamp will go out.

Now immediately confirm your new Secret Code by entering it a second time.

If the red light blinks, an error has occurred or your timing was off, so just start over with the factory 1,2,3,4 code.
