My breaker box was replaced. Everything else in the house came back fine but the Maytag Neptune washer and Kenmore H3 dryer. The outlets check out fine but neither shows any power at all. Tried unplugging and replugging.

When the power came back on, or when it went out, there was probably a brown out or voltage surge. You need a service visit. You can try and claim against the utility company for not regulating their power supply to you. Are you certain you have power at the outlets? It is odd that both would succumb to it, unless you were hit by lightning?
I was at work. The electric comany was checking my house because I had an issue in the living room the night before but no surges. They shut off my power completely. Had new breaker box put in and everything else--stove. microwave, fridge are fine. the washer and dryer are on two different breakers. The outlets check out.
I wonder if they connected the power in reverse polarity and then realised. It shouldn't happen, but it is a very odd situation.
