This sounds like a heat soak issue. Drive the 15 minutes, shut down, wait. try to start, if no start, check for ignition spark. the 'lectrics are sensitive to heat.
Is there a way to fix this
Of course. The key is to make sure that you are NOT getting spark, at the time of the failure. Too expensive to JUST parts replace. BUT if you find no spark, you need to eliminate some stuff: connections clean and tight? Power going to where it should?
If all good, a new control module and a special white heat dissipating grease (<< Most critical) will resolve the issue.
A common issue is engines that have been well warm, this heat dissipating grease melts away and 'lectrics do not like heat.
