I was in the same situation you were and I found out that the amplifier was a goner because we replaced it with a new and bigger amplifier.

monoblock amps are NOT bridgiable. there is a good chance you will burn up the amp if you try it.

If you have a DVC 4ohm speaker, and you are using both voice coils, the amp is seeing a 2ohm load.
If you bridge the amp, you CAN run both subs as long as the amp is Two Ohms Stable.
Wire each subs voice coils in parallel.(Positive to positve, neg to neg.) (2ohms) each.
Then wire the two subs in series.(Neg from amp to neg of sub one, pos of sub one to neg of sub two. then pos of sub two to pos of amp.

If it sounds too hard, leave it as you are already running the amp at two ohms.

u may be able to custom fir the 6x9 into the rear of the vehicle, if you don't want to do that, you may be able to fit them into the spots in the doors, but that still may be a custom job. u could always go with boxes, individual boxes that you could put on the floor on maybe on the back deck where usually the 6x9s would be located. if you dont like that idea, you might try a body shop or electronics retailer because there is definitely a way to fit those speakers in the doors or on the rear deck, it just won't be an easy job for a beginner, you have to cut holes

depends on the amplifier if you have a mono block amp or a regular 2 output amp if it is 2 output make sure to bridge and that means the negative to one output and positive to the other output then need to find out the rms on the speaker. the amp should have the ability to adjust it you might want to get a digital multimeter set it to watts and make sure you only set it to the RMS of the speaker because max handling should be the 1800 and usually the RMS is half the max so it should be 900 w again it depends on the amp and were the adjusting knob is and or if it has one
