I'm finding it very difficult to get the sound that is not too high pitched and doesn't need to be turned up to 44
Try changing input or source if same go into audio set up and change settings
'make model (what it is)' needed in such questions.
Perhaps it needs a power reset. Perhaps the speakers are blown. Perhaps it is a low quality device. Perhaps you need some aid to hearing, and perhaps you are actually talking about 'hearing aids'.

Thank you Kathy, so much easier. This is a 12 volt television made for touring caravans. All the reviews mention the bad sound. Take it back and get one from an established maker. One review states
The only problems with this are the sound quality, which is atrocious, even on low volume it is extremely poor, muffled and tinny and it takes ages to switch on.
Another. The reason is that it only has a 2" speaker

Really thought long and hard before buying this TV. Had all the right features at a reasonable price but couldn't believe the poor reviews on sound until I got it. I have complained to Cello and they simply say "it's only got a 2inch speaker!". Well I say, that's your problem and you need to fix it if you want to stay in business. I should have returned it but needed it our new campervan so have fixed up a mains powered speaker plugged into the earphone socket. Picture quality is very good as is the DVD player.
12 volt cable didn't fit our 12v outlet (Elddis CV60) despite Cello helpline telling me all I had to do was remove the "red" section. After second phone call they sent me an adapter that does fit.
In summary, wanted to buy British, but why haven't they listened to all the poor feedback on sound quality and made a potentially good product a 5 star product.

The sound however is the tinniest I have ever heard. You kind of get used to it after a while but I challenge anyone to find something that sounds worse. Reminds me of 1970's pocket transistor radios.
Last one, but you get the idea.
Stopped working after 2 days. Poor sound quality

We used this TV for 2 days the sound quality was very poor but the main Problem was one morning it just wouldn't switch on... I contacted Cello who passed the buck to Amazon and when I spoke to Amazon they said I'd have to wait 4 weeks for a replacement .....as a Prime member I wasn't happy I bought this for my caravan but ended up having to buy a cheaper non12V one from Tesco......
