Colors not matching computer

It is possible your colour cartridge has cross contaminated the ink reservoirs. To check this take the colour cartridge out and turn it over to see the coloured pads. They should look red, dark blue, and orange ( the colours are actually Magenta, Cyan, and Yellow, but are concentrated). If any of the pads are pale or particularly green - change the cartridge.
If the colours look alright, your issue is probably that your monitor makes colour by emitting light frequencies so is bright, printed images make colour by absorbing light frequencies so will always be darker. There is always the issue of course that your monitor also has a colour "temperature" bias. Photo pros calibrate their monitors and printers to match.

I changed two colour ink cartridges on my Canon iP4200 printer. Now it won't print colour. The pattern check does not print any colour.

You might want to double check to make sure that your printer takes two color cartridges? If I remember correctly, the Pixma takes one black and one color cartridge? If you put a color cartridge in the black ink assembly that would cause it to stop printing.

Double check and make sure that you have one black cartridge in the correct place and one color on the other side.

I have a Canon Pixma iP4300 printer and the Yellow ink is not printing. I have changed the particular cartridge and all other colours are working except Yellow. I have cleansed the printer several times and tried with new Yellow ink cartridges with new chips, but nothing helps.
What should I do?

After refilling he black an coloured cartridge, i always get the error E 5 and the lights B and C are flashing orange. I already changed the cartridges several times.

Using refills and non-canon inks can cause issues with the printer. You can damage the print head and fill up the waste ink tank faster then needed..

Best of luck..

Canon mp530 - colors print dull and faded

The ink tanks may be full but sometimes the pins that connect the cartridges to the printer may have dried up ink on them preventing the ink from flowing. You can try to swab these with a bit of rubbing alcohol on a Qtip and letting it dry for moment or two. I would strongly suggest doing a couple of deep cleanings first and try test printing of the individual colours separately in a program such as paint to see which colour is affected.

Assuming that you are using original Canon cartridges or a brand of Compatibles that you have used before.

If print results are blurred, colors are faded or not printed correctly, the pint head nozzles are probably clogged.

Follow the procedure below to print the nozzle check pattern, check the print head nozzle condition, then clean the Print Head. You may have to do this 2 or 3 times.

If printed ruled lines are misaligned or print results are otherwise unsatisfactory, aligning the Print Head may improve print quality.

Caution Do not rinse or wipe the Print Head and ink tanks. This can cause trouble with the Print Head and ink
tanks.

Note Before performing maintenance
Open the Top Cover and make sure that all lamps on the ink tanks are lit red.
If not, see Checking the Ink Status and take an appropriate action.
Increasing the print quality in the printer driver settings may improve the print result.

Canon IP4200 printed great photos when new. My

Hi,

Although refill inks can be quite good, it is likely the cause. Several companies do make good refill inks for canon but they are specific to model lines and you have to be sure you get the right ones for photo colour.

The inks you're using are likely "universal" inkjet inks and are fine for everyday printing but are rarely ever colour corrected properly for photo.

My recomendation to all of my customers is always to keep a new cartridge handy for photos but to use the refilled ones whenever they are printing anything else as it will give you the best balance between print cost and print quality.

Have changed Ink Black and Colour... Stil getting error Message.

Make sure the tape covering the hole on the bottom of the black cartridge is removed. and then go into the printers folder and right click on your printer icon and go into the properties of that printer and there should be something in there to tell it that you changed cartridges and you can also print a test page as well.
