Electrolux Icon Wall oven off, wakes, beeps once as waking and goes back to clock after a couple of minutes? Whats up with it ?

I have an Electrolux Icon wall oven. It will be asleep and no one has used it for days. Just clock on display. All of a sudden with no one anywhere in the vicinity, the oven wakes up with a beep, stays lit up for a couple minutes then goes back to sleep. This will repeat at a random interval. Shutting the breaker and leaving it off for several days then powering again results in no problem for even a number of days, I have seen almost a month, then randomly starts this random wake up and beep again. If I just quickly turn it off and then back on after just a short duration, it may start beeping again in a shorter time.. Any idea what's up with this thing? Is the control panel defective or something else ?

Probably the clock and/or control board could be failing at random. The erratic oven start-up could present a safety hazard.

How to address F14 code? Convection oven does not start.

Hey friend, thanks for your post!
I see that your Electrolux wall oven is displaying an "F14" error code. "F14" stands for display tail missing, which means you could have an issue within your main control board or keypad. I would perform a reset on your appliance which can be done by flipping your household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If that does not correct the issue I would suggest seeking a professional to come out properly diagnose and repair your appliance. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Electrolux Icon Oven self cleaning won't start- the lock button keeps flashing. Yes, the racks and rack holders are removed.

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that you are having trouble with your Electrolux Icon oven, model# E30SO75ESS, and running the self-clean cycle. I see that the lock button keeps flashing and that you have the racks and rack holders out. I suggest following the steps below to run your self-clean cycle:

    1) Place the rack holders and the racks in your oven.

    2) Reset your appliance, by shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes.

    3) Restore power.

    4) Reset the clock, by pressing the "Clock" button then press the number "2". Enter in the time of day, and then press the "Clock" button again.

    5) Start the self-clean cycle with the racks in your range. This is to make your oven recognize that the racks are in the oven.

    6) Take the racks and rack holders out and start the self-clean cycle again.

I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your oven status has changed successfully.

    -Best Regards-

We have an indicator tone that goes off every minute, but it appears that nothing is set: oven is off, timer is off, clock is set. What is this? What can we do to turn it off?

It sounds like your electronic control is on the verge of dying. Try cutting of the power to the oven via the circuit breaker for at least 10 minutes then turn it back on and reset the clock. If the oven continues to beep something in the control is failing. It also could be the touch pad has a stuck button and usually the only way to repair that is to replace it. You could try powering down the oven and disconnecting the touch pad then power it back up. If the beeping goes away you need to replace the touch pad.

Probe light keeps flashing on and off and beeping whats the problem

Hi

This means a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Tried to clean single Electrolux wall oven. The cycle began, the door locked and then the oven shut down with the door locked. I shut off the breaker for 10 minutes and then back on, no change. I checked...
