Anyone ever had issue connecting a Nextech wireless Bluetooth 4.1 Headset to a PC?
Hi everyone.
I have a headset that use to work correctly in the past. I did lose my Bluetooth connection from time to time but pairing it again use to revolve the issue.
This time though it did not work and what actually happened is that the pairing seems to work and even shows on the Bluetooth menu that the device is connected, but when I go to the "Playback Device" the device does not appear anymore. So I cannot even enable/disable it nor can I select "connect".
I have tried multiple things such as updating various drivers, (including Bluetooth) but still cannot manage to have any sound coming out from my headset or from the mic (it's a headset with a mic)
Any help would be welcome as I cannot use it anymore at this time.

Multipoint is a new development in Bluetooth technology that allows your headset to be connected to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. When a call
comes in, the Bluetooth headset knows which handset is ringing and will connect to
the phone automatically. Multipoint can benefit most Bluetooth Headset users.
1.From the main home screen of the iphone open "SETTINGS".
2.From the setting menu go to "GENERAL".
3.From General go to "BLUETOOTH".
4.In the Bluetooth menu you will see an on/off switch. Make sure you turn the switch to "ON".
5.From here you want to go to your bluetooth headset. Hold the on button for about 5-10 seconds until the light starts blinking. Once light is blinking go back to iphone.
6.In the Bluetooth menu (same as step 4) your iphone should have discovered your bluetooth headset. However if it is not paired yet. Open the headset menu.
7.In the headset menu you are required to enter the appropriate PIN number (which should be given inside your bluetooth headset instruction manual).
8.After you have entered the correct PIN number press connect.
9.From here your Bluetooth Headset should be connected and ready to use.
NOTE:Fully charge your bluetooth headset before syncing it to your iphone

Make sure the Bluetooth Headset is switched on when the Mobile Device is trying to search for the Bluetooth Headset. It should work but if it doesn't, check the Manufacture's Website for any support.
Your friend should be able to use the headset if your friend's computer has Bluetooth feature. Just make sure your friend's computer has Bluetooth feature turned on and then setup the headset by the "pairing" process.
