One of the checks this unit performs when it starts is the drum belt, if the belt has slipped, broke or stretched, it wont start. You have to remove the top of the unit to see the drum.
Always disconnect power before attempting any service. Most electric dryers require 240 volts to operate properly.
You may have only 120 volts to supply the dryer which will give you your symptoms. Click dryer circuit breaker off then back on to reset 240 volt system.Still no heat/run

Hi-- none of the solutions I've read here are working. Same problem, dryer not starting, it says "Sensing..." and then "Wet" and does nothing. It worked fine on the last load, except I noticed it read 11 minutes for a very, very long time (I think it got stuck). New load? "Sensing..." etc.
Check the following: Is the power cord plugged in? Has a fuse blown, or has circuit break er tripped? Was a regular fuse used? Use a time-delay fuse. Is the dryer door firmly closed? Was the START button firmly pressed? Is a cycle selected?
