Bought a Pyle PINV6. Hooked it up to the battery and the unit's light and fan come on, but no power from the two electrical sockets. Too late to return the item.
I had the same trouble with a motomaster Inverter. Just keep turning it on and off slowly and it should come around and start to work.I know sounds stupid but it works.

On the PYLE PLCM103 does the red wire get power only when the car is on or at all times. I keep losing my settings when the car is shut off? I have the red wire hot only when car is on.
if u have a yellow wire that should be boobies up to the gin power and red should be constant power or reverse it won't hurt it if u do this
