Cools intermittently then stays at high temp until I pull plug and do a hard reset. After hard reset, it cools instantly and holds set temp 55 for 2 days or so-then unit quits cooling and goes up to about 66-67 degrees. Rear facing fan is working, not sure yet about fan inside cooler as difficult to get to. If thermoelectric unit bad, what would be the replacement and where available? Thanks
Try disconnecting temp sensor from board if gets cold replace if same possible compressor kicking off
Thanks for your help. This unit is a thermoelectric unit. No schematic was provided so I was not able to disconnect temp sensor and unit does not have a compressor. However, I removed thermoelectric unit and found it was completely rusted on inside portion of unit. All other electrics checked out so I did what most people do who purchase China junk, I recycled it to the landfill and will not spend any money on any Igloo product in the future for the lack of support for their top end products
