If the power button is broken you are not going to be able to use the DVD player. You will need to get the player either repaired or replace it.

The only reason I can think of is the power cable needs plugging in. Or maybe the wire is broken or a pin bent or broken.

I accidentally loaded 2 dvd's in my Toshiba sd-v392 player and can't get them out.

Hi anne,
you have to remove the top cover,

sometimes you need to remove one or two extra screw of the loading tray mechanism,
go ahed.
it is not hard to do if you have philips screw driver.
if more asist please ask.

Sd-p91s toshiba portable dvd player problems. I turn it on and it says loading.....but it never seems to complete the load.....any ideas on fix?

purchase a CD/DVD Cleaner. You can get one at Radio Shack, Best Buy or similar store. This is a CD that has a small brush. When you use it, it brushes the dust away from the laser head.

If this doesn't resolve the problem, I'm afraid that the drive is no longer working.

My Toshiba SD-P91S DVD player is not working properly, a non-compatable disc was inserted into it and after then only the video plays, no audio, i have tried plugging it in to a TV but that dosen't work...

thats odd... maybe your drivers got changed, see if you can updtae or roll back the driver on it

Have Toshiba SD-P91S dvd player. It always says "no valid disc" even though nothing wrong with disc. (Discs are in good shape and work on other players). Is player basically broken, or is there some...

EXACT same problem here. All discs invalid. 1 second of disc motion and then nothing. Have barely used the device.
