Zanussi TC180W (product 916095010/01)

The drum is working fine but no heat in either setting. All filters clean and lint free. Can anyone advise if this is likely to be a thermostat or a heating element issue. Thanks in advance. Karen

I have a kenmore dryer it will heat up but it wont blow out the heat what should i do

Hi,

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have not taken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then you need to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should take place. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causes for your dryer to fail.

Electric dryer squeels? is it a belt?

Dryer wont tumble

The belt is acessable from the front of the dryer you can remove it by popping the top up then taking off the front of the dryer off the drum will come out now place the belt around the drum and put back in now the belt goes around the drum the motor pulley and under the tentioner pulley replace front and top and you are good to go thank you

Hotpont/Zanussi Electric dryer TC7102W no timed heat

it seems thatyour getting no heat on the permanent press and gentle cycles correct? if we know the heater is working that takes care of a number of possible causes turn the power off and remove the rear panel of the dryer. you will see a couple of thermo disks mounted on the heater box.you probably will find tons of lint on these thermostats and what happens is you turn your dryer on low heat or automatic cycle where the dryer will run until it senses the clothes have no more humidity inside the drum every time the thermostat shuts off the heater the dial moves a little closer to the off position. if there is a build up of lint around these sensers the dryer will heat up until the sensers turn the heat off. what happens now is the thermostats are nice and warm as the lint buildup iacts like an insulator preventing the thermostat from calling for more heat so it will take forever to dry a load of clothes. brush the lint off the thermostats and while you are at it vacuum the back of the dryer there should be a lot of lint there

Drum on gas dryer does not turn

Time to replace the belt. Likely access is from the front. Hope this helps!

Condenser dryer

doubt if squeak is related to not drying. if you are getting heat (you say heating element is ok) take out condensor and hose it down till thoroughly free of lint. check appliance has adequate ventilation as well
