Pioneer AVIC MRZ07. How can I change the maps from Japan to Zimbabwe?

Hello Bishaw motors hs,
Sadly,this unit is made for Japan ONLY. The FM frequencies are not compatible and neither is the map or GPS. There is also no way to change to English. Carrozzeria does a poor job of informing customers of this problem.
The radio is superior to many but completely useless outside of Japan. You will want to send it back to them.

PS: I have not verified if this works but it is worth it to try.

Hello I've just received an in car GPS system, and video/audio player from Japan. I live in Barbados, and I dont speak or understand japanese It is a Pioneer Carrozzeria AVIC-T1(CPN1800). I plugged my DVD player to it but ilke the previous writer, I am getting audio but not video. Can you give eny information concerning how I might remedy this.
