Without remote its not possible to disable child lock. If it possible to arrange the remote then you can do the following to override the lock.



1.Press VOL+ on the remote and CHANNEL + on the
front of the TV at the same time. Enter New Pwd.
will appear on the screen. (You must be in the Enter
password screen when attempting this).


2.Press the number buttons to enter a four-digit code.
The code will appear on the screen as you enter it.

3.Press OK to save the code.

4.Press MENU repeatedly to exit the menu or the menu
will automatically disappear within a few seconds if

Switch ON- and OFF the TV by its front panel power switch [not by the remote handset] each time before trying an other code.
Direct Code Entry

1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.

Code Search If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.

Your TV is still in the factory test mode. To remove from the tech service mode try this.To exit the service mode, grab the original remote. Press the cursor left followed by the cursor right button. you should be able to exit using the power button. Funai needs to address this issue, using many universal remotes with their TV's can access this menu, this menu is used for diagnostics and is not supposed to be accessible by consumers.

To control an Emerson TV with a One for All URC-3021, follow these steps:

1) Turn on your TV.

2) On the remote, press the TV key once.

3) Press and hold SET until the LED blinks twice, then release SET.

4) Enter the first four-digit code from the following list:

0154, 0236, 0463, 0180, 0178, 0171, 0623

The LED will blink twice.
If it does not blink twice, go back to step 2 and try the same code again.

5) Aim the remote at the TV and press POWER.
The device should turn off.
If it does not turn off, repeat steps 2 through 5 with the next code in the list.

The following instructions are for the Emerson EWC1303/1903 tv/vcr. That's the closest match I could find to the Spongebob Squarepants 13' TV
If it's actually in Sleep mode, do the following:

TO CANCEL THE SLEEP TIMER
Press the WAKE UP/SLEEP button on the remote
control until “SLEEP TIMER” appears.
To view the time left for sleep timer press the WAKE
UP/SLEEP button twice, then press the MENU button
on the remote control to exit the sleep timer setting

If unsuccessful, try unplugging the TV for 1/2 hour, then plug it in and try turning it back on either manually or with the remote. Either of these should solve your problem. Best of luck to you!

I have the same problem with my Emerson VCR. When the ADD button is flashing, just press the menu button to exit the menu. It will add. That's the only thing I know to do. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
