Does anyone know a way to fix Nextar mp3 players only playing in one ear piece?

I have had dozens of MP3 players, and they all seem to go out the same way, first one headphone stops playing then the other. finished, never used again. I've tried different plugs and a portable stereo, and it isn't the Headphones.

Try spraying electrical contact cleaner into the headphone socket. There are 4 spring loaded contacts in there.

For your next one, buy a Bluetooth MP3 or a cellphone with Bluetooth. No mechanical connections.

I just downloaded a new CD to my Nextar MP3 player the CD shows on the player however every time I try to play it I get format error and nothing play's not sure what happen it was working fine now its not...
Could be a corrupted file, or it could be in the wrong format. Try ripping the CD to your computer in the MP3 format (using http://www.freerip.com/ or something of the like) and placing the tracks on your MP3 player that way. It should fix the problem easily.

The Nextar plays MP3 format songs while those from ITunes are Mp4a (Itunes/Apple's format). You will need to find software that will convert these. I use AVS4U Software. Available here. http://www.avs4you.com/AVS-Audio-Converter.aspx The software costs roughly $40.

i figured out how to use it without using the play/pause botton by going to browse it plays the song automatically instead of having to press play.

Take the battery out and put it back in then choose the paper on the menu then chose a folder then a song. You can play it but you just cant pause(-.-)
