My kodak easyshare c1530 was dropped. Now has a black screen when turned on and is taking black photos.

Then it is severely damaged, probably beyond repair

When I put in new batteries in my easy share C1530 they immediately discharge

There is an internal fault that is shorting out the batteries get it looked at before batteries explode or burst and camera internals get damaged more

Kodak Easyshare C1530 - I cannot load pix into my PC or laptop. Camera turns off. Software will not load - says something called "bootstrap" is not found and Javascript error shows up. Any ideas?

have the best i think u should get a windows computer like me because they have eything on a windows computer

Kodak easyshare c1530 won't turn on after slighty dropped

Hello Doris, You can "GENTLY" try to push the lens slowly back into the camera with the palm of your hand, note I said gently and slowly, do not use force !!! Then turn on camera and see if this helped, if not it is repair time.

Shutter button does not work after camera was dropped.

You dropped it and that is the problem, it is junk. Repair cost will exceed price of good camera.

MY KODAK WON'T POWER UP EITHER. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW WHAT TO DO, SHORT OF SENDING IT BACK TO KODAK FOR A FEE OF $80.

You don't. The C1530 is a camera, not a battery charger. It uses two standard AA batteries.If you want to use rechargeable batteries then you must charge them using a separate charger.

Is this the Battery/Memory card door? A good camera repairer or even contacting Kodak directly should be where you could get one. Your better off using a good repair service as you might need to dismantle the camera to refit the new door.
