To change the combination on the S-50EB you need first to open the safe. Once the safe is open, look at the thin inside edge of the door (nearest the hinges) and you should see a small reset button. Press the button and the amber light will come on. Once the amber light is on, you have 20 seconds to enter a new code. It makes sense to change the code with the door open, in case there is a problem.
