Our Bosch side-by-side refrigerator B22CS80SNS/01 has a problem. The freezer is set to -18 degrees C and the refrigerator is set to +4 degrees C, but they are reading -5 C and +2 C respectively.
As an experiment, I set the freezer to -24 C, but the temperature does not change. If you suspect the thermostat, how would I remove it?
Testimonial: "Thank you for the prompt reply. You might be right about being low on gas, but I would like to check the thermostat myself first, if possible. I checked, and I have continuity here, but I don't know how to remove it. And those sensors don't look like the copper coil coming out of the white unit in the bottom left hand corner of the fridge. Or is the temperature control thermostat located someplace else? (Is there a way for me to attach a photo?)"

Hi, it sounds like the thermostat for the refrigerator is not shutting off and just continuing to cool to the point of freezing . You need to get it checked out and renewed .
Does ANYTHING work? Sure it's plugged in, breaker not tripped and GFI plug not tripped?
Plug something else into the outlet to confirm that it works.
Unplug from wall for 30 minutes to reset Bosch to defaults.
Still malfunctioning? Main control board is faulty.
It sounds like the fridge is in need of a regas, but that seems unlikely after only three years, although not impossible. An indication of that would be if the compressor could be heard to be running all the time. If it cuts out after running only a short time it could be the thermostat that has gone faulty.
after making sure the unit is level and the doors are square to the frame, make sure that the seals are fitting flat all round(use a hot cloth to make them pliable)it is not unusual for the delivery company to just plonk it down plug it in and go...without setting it up first....after all you only paid for the delivery not the instalation.....
You can get the manual here. on page 16 it tells you how to take off savagemode.
Sabbatical mode settings:
– Accoustic signal is switched off.
– Super cool or Super freezing
functions are ended (if activated).
– The interior illumination is
switched off.
– The light on the display panel is
reduced to basic lighting.
– Buttons are locked (except
“options” and “+” buttons).
Switching on and off:
̨ Simultaneously press “options”
and “+” buttons for 5 seconds
When switched on, [Sabbath] is
indicated on the display panel.
The temp for the fridge is about right and -18 for the freezer is ok so check to see if the water filter is plugged, at 8 degrees Celsius is about 18 degrees fht. Which is freezing so the numbers don't add up. 26 degrees below zero on the freezer side is what you want if it that cold it could have frozen the water line.
