if this is the model with the touch control buttons on front , ive seen a stove top spill that got down inside there cause some missoperation ,id start to look there for a reason , then id move on to replacing the control panel and last the logic board (its on back of front panel ) but I will say id unplug it till I resolved this problem if it turns itself on and your not home ,what could happen !!!!

How do i lock the self cleaning ge oven door when i put it on self clean
If you have a self cleaning oven, the door will lock automatically as the self cleaning begins. Give it some time ,it will happen. When cleaning is done it will take a while for the door to unlock. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Because the features mention utilize 220 VAC power, I do not advise you attempt any corrections. Very dangerous; unless you are a trained technician. If the unit is in Warranty, get the Whirlpool folks out to you home ASAP.

After cleaning the stove top the 4burners turned into continuous ignite mode
You probably got water under the cooktop while cleaning around the knobs. It causes a short at the 120 volt igniter switches on the shaft of each valve. Unplug the stove for 1 or 2 days and let it dry.

why? tranfers for another house? do u think is raesonable for transfering the old one?how it cost? compare to buy an new one,coz the 30yrs old unit is no available parts in the market if there happen during transfortation. 30yrs is enough for the appliances.unless the unit is memorable or have a centimental value...but be practical to compare all the thing before u deside.

Jenn Air c221 element only goes to high On my Jenn Air c221 the large burner will only heat to high, I can't adjust it lower. This ONLY happens when I also have the smaller burner on. If only the large burner is on it works ok. I have replaced the infinite switch for the large burner and also the recepticle for the large burner to plug into. Could it be the ceramic element the burners connect to at the back of the burner unit? The smaller burner appears to work fine.

My induction hob won't work when my oven is on and heated up? Rangemaster Elan 1100 induction hob doesn't work if I have my oven on for half hour or so before trying to turn on hob. Nothing from hob . Dead. Hob does feel warm to touch from the oven heat.... Any thoughts??
