Look on the back of the refrigerator follow the electric cord . To a panel with a few screws. Gently remove the screws holding the cover on . After removing panel cover you should see a mother board. On the motherboard look for a small black reset button. Good luck hop this helps.

Question edited for clarity.

Some have a Defrost Button. You press it for Defrost. To reset it, you turn the knob. There are some tips in the link.

Kenmore refrig/freezer. freezer side is cold,

Check your condenser coil (should be below the refrig.). If dirty, you can clean it with a condenser brush from Home Depot or Lowe's. Turn the appliance off while cleaning. Be careful not to damage the refrigerant tubing (copper). If this doesn't solve the problem, then there may be an issue with the defrost thermostat, defrost heater(s) or the main temperature control assembly.

Contact an appliance service company.

KENMORE TRIO 2004 59675523400 REEFER/FREEZER NOT COOLING

It is the compressor that has failed. The hum is it trying to start and the following click is the overload protector opening. What is the temperature where the refrigerator is located? Allow the compressor to cool down before trying to restart it. If it still does not restart after it has cooled off it is done.
