I need instructions on how to mount the nuvi 200w to my windshield

To secure the nuvi 200w to your windshield with the included suction cup mount (pictured below),

steve_con_6.jpeg

center the GPS on the clip, and tip the bottom edge on the bracket. Push the top of the GPS against the top clip until it clicks into place. Hold the bracket and GPS near the windshield where you like it best. Note where the suction cup is on the windshield in relation to the mirror, etc. Remove the GPS from the mount's clip by pushing the top tab back from the top of the GPS.

Clean the windshield (or portion that the suction cup will be stuck against) with a paper towel or newspaper and ammonia solution like Windex, etc. Clean the suction cup with the paper towel and Windex, too.

Lift the lever at the base of the mount - is shown in the picture above - if it isn't already. With the mount oriented as shown in the picture above, press the suction cup against the windshield where desired with one hand. Hold the mount firmly against the glass and use your other hand to press the lever on the base back toward the suction cup and glass. Press until it lays flat against the base / suction cup. Plug the power cord into the GPS and reinstall the GPS in the mount clips as done earlier.

To remove from the windshield, release the GPS from the mount clips, and lift the lever away from the base / suction cup. Locate the tab that is connected to the suction cup edge near the lever. Pull on the tab away from the glass to break the suction seal and remove from the windshield.

My garmin nuvi 350 suction mount falls from the windshield after several days.

I believe they all do that, I own a Garmin and I bought what looks like a bean bag because I got tired of my suction cup mount falling off my windshield. The nice thing about the bean bag mount is that you can move it closer to you and place it anywhere on your dash. I bought mine on ebay from the Mount Guys they have a big selection of mounts for all types of GPS's take a look you might want to make the change too.

I hope this helps you out and if it did please leave me some feedback

How do I attach my garmin to my dash mount?

The Garmin Nuvi 255w comes with a three piece dash mounting kit. A round disk smooth on one side tape on the other to affix to the dash (most dashes ar textured and the suction cup will not hold to textures) a suction cup arm with a ball end, and a bracket with a receiver for the ball. Snap the bracket and arm together, this can take a little effort. mount the disk to your dash in a place that doesn't obstruct your view of the road. then place the arm/bracket on the disk and push the lever down creating suction to hold the mount to the dash.
Another option it the beanbag dash mounts that hold the arm without sticking to your dash.

Windshield Mounting Unmounting

first the round plate... that has a sticky circle on the bottom.... you remove the tape and stick it on a surface where you want the gps... then when you want to mount the gps you suction cup it to that disk. now for the suction cup... when it is disengaged the plastic suction cup will be loose. to attach it to the plate or window... you swing the small arm on the base of it up or down... you will see as it will lock the suction... the gps should clip onto the holder so you can leave the holder where it is and remove the gps and slip it into your pocket.

Not the best instructions but you will get the idea

LG GPS not suctioning to windhield

You must clean the window area using windex, or other cleaner, and wipe until dry. A clean winshield area provides the best suction, from the mounting bracket.

Slide the mounting bracket switch to Off & On a few times, make sure the suction cup is able to move(slightly) and that the small tap is facing the area with the notch in the metal.
After putting the switch to the middle, moisten the suction cup slightly
(saliva works bestter than water for some reason)
press it to the window with a slight amount of pressure
then move the switch, (Which should be set to Center!)
to lock it on firmly.

If this doesn't work, then there is a good chance the suction cup has become hardened by the sun. If that is the situation, you'll have to contact LG
(or a place that sells "knock off" brackets to get a replacement.)

I never leave my LG GPS in the car, when not in use. Even the bracket comes out, as I've seen what the sun can do to damage those plastic suction cups, fortunately, I learned it on a $5 replacement set for a Radar detector/Emergency Vehicle Alert device, and not a more expensive bracket.

Garmin Suction Cup (Rubber)

Put a drop of dishwashing detergent and a few drops of water on the rubber and distribute it evenly before You mount it to the windshield. This mixture enhances the suction power and keeps the rubber soft. Repeat after 3-4 months! If You don't like the look of it on the outside of the window, put a smiley sticker on it! :-)

How does teh suction cup ball fit into the garming 360

Greetings,
There is a seperate black clip that should have come with your gps if you purchased it new. Here is a link to Amazon to get a better idea of what I am talking about:
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=8125#
If you have the clip then there is a round indent in it that requires a good measure of force to attach to the suction cup mount.
Take Care,
-WN
