inside the washer is a fill valve it has a tube from the bottom of the tub leading to this valve if the tube is blocked with sope the washer over fills clear this tube first also if there are any holes in it it still over fills the washer, the valve works on air presher,,as the washer fills the air presher builds up in the tube and shuts this valve off stoping the flow of water into the washer,,,ok? sorry but me spelling is roten?
If the water continues to fill even if unplugged the water valve is sticking and needs replaced. if removing power turns the water off the water level pressure switch is bad or there is something plugging the sensor tube somewhere. Eric
This is another control panel switch, usually located next to the temperature switch. There is a small hose connected to this switch, and sometimes this hose becomes loose and falls off the connection. When this happens, the water in the tub usually overflows. To solve this problem, cut about 1/2 inch off the end of the hose and use a push fit to reconnect it to the switch.
The switch itself can also malfunction, resulting in tub overflow and other water-level trouble in the tub. If you suspect this switch is faulty, remove it by backing out the screws holding it in place. Take it to a professional service person for testing. If the switch is faulty, replace it with a new one of the same size and type. Connect the new switch the same way the old one was connected..PLEASE RATE IT......
I suggest pressing the keylock and power button together, hold for 5 secs, the display will change orange, the display should read HP if it says LP, press the start button to make display read HP.Then press power button to store. You will need to manually removed the water from the machine before restarting
Are you on a well? Often people with a lot of sediment in water get sick of the screens in water valve plugging up so they remove them. NEVER remove these screens. If any sediment gets into valve it can hold it open causing flooding.
If you unplug unit and water still comes in you must replace valve.
