My freezer and Fridgerator has stopped working, but there is still power as the inside light is still on. I have cleaned the coils; done a hard reset and still nothing. Any suggestions?

Fridgerator not cold and freezer not freezing

You will need to clean the condensor coil. It is usually under the refrigerator on newer models and in the rear on older models. All you need to do is use a vacuum to clean it. Also try to leave some room behind the refrigerator, do not keep it too close to the wall. It needs to circulate the warm air it extracts.

Hi my samsung refrigerator rb1855sw it is not keeping it cool inside and keeps making ice... i need a solution... thank you

Ok First thing would be to check that your freezer is cold. After you assure that the freezer is cold then you would have to ascertain if the fan is blowing from the freezer into the fridgerator you can do this by putting your hand over one of the vents inside the fridgerator and you should feel air flowing onto your hand if you dont then the fan willneed to be replaced. If you do have air blowing into the fridgerator then you would have a defrost problem in which you would need a multimeter to test the t-stat which is a small two wired disc like object which is usually found on one of the condensor lines if the tstat tests ok then you would test the heater please note that both of these tests are to be done with the power off and that you would be measuring continuity from one side to the other side. start with the fan and message me back if you have any further questions and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation and have a great day (also note that if you are having a defrst problem or your fan is not working when you take off the rear panel inside of the freezer you will see an ice build up of some sort this buildup needs to be defrosted and there is also a drain line that you have to assure is free of ice as well )
thanks

The temperature of the fridge has risen to 11/12 degrees & wont come down? Freezer works fine! Any answers please

Don't know the make and model of your fridge, but most fridges have only one evap coil located in the freezer. The fridgerator compartment is cooled by a fan to blow air from the coil back into the fridgerator section. Check that the fan is working and the vents in the fridgerator are not blocked. Often the problem might be that the defrost circuit is not functioning causing ice to build up on the evap coil thus block the air flow to the fridge. If you seen any ice build up in freezer or refrigerator that could be the problem. If that is the case, then you need to have the defrost circuit troubleshot, typical failures are the heater itself or the defrost timer if you have an older model. Hope this helps you.

American fridge/freezer - fridge stopped cooling, freezer side ok

Have you pulled out the refrigerator and cleaned or used a vacum cleaner to get out the dirt and dust off the back of the coils, or if the coils are underneath, you need to get an inexpensive appliance brush for fridge, and clean the coils under the fridge, pull off the panel on the front bottom of the fridge, get a flash light and look to see if the coils are covered in dust....may just need to vacum and use appliance brush underneath...this should be done at least one a year, you will notice your fridge running much better and cooling back to normal.......hope this helps......

You have a refrigerant leak. Your coil in the freezer should be frosted. You're looking at 600 dollars minumum for repair.

How to clean a coil in my refrigerator

a duster, air compressor or powerful vaccum or leaf blower etc would do the job, but I'd say this wouldn't normally cause the freezer to stop working. Cheers

Leaking water inside fridgerator

You need to manually defrost then let sit over night .Pour warm water down the drain hole if does not go down fast than you will need to clean drain tube out with wire start at the rear of the unit and there will be a drain tube going in the drip pan good luck :)
